A deep economy system with clans, minigames, activity tracking, and server objectives, built for one of Discord's largest active communities.
The problem
Frantic runs a large, highly active community with events, competitions, and a need to keep members genuinely engaged over time. Existing economy bots were too generic, no clan system, no activity-based objectives, no earning variety beyond a single daily command. The server wanted something that felt handcrafted for their culture.
What I built
A complete economy system with multiple earning paths: six commands with individual cooldowns and payout ranges, passive chat and voice tracking, chat drops that reward speed, boost rewards, and a welcome-message earner. On top of that, a full clan system where members form groups, compete on leaderboards, maintain a shared bank, and challenge rivals, including a coordinated rob mechanic that requires five members on each side. Minigames (tic-tac-toe, rock paper scissors, connect 4) add a competitive layer with optional currency bets. A shop with default items, murder weapons, immunity, revival tokens, ties into the clan mechanics so kills, defences, and revivals have real stakes. Admin-configurable objectives let staff set time-limited earning goals that award prizes automatically. Activity tracking runs independently, recording message counts and voice hours across current, daily, weekly, and monthly periods for every member.
